Kingdom Assignment Sudan
Over 4 million people were displaced by the civil war

Who we are

Kingdom Assignment Sudan (KAS) was formed by a group of people who wanted to respond to the challenge of the devastation in Sudan.

Personal stories from Sudanese Australians who were struggling to settle in a new country led us to want to help them rebuild the communities they had left, with the hope of one day returning to them. We began with a friendship between a Sudanese man, Malok Akot, and an Australian man, Roger Brook. From there a team was formed, both Sudanese and Australians, to plan what we could do.

The support grew and we raised enough money to send Malok to Sudan to do the research needed to begin this project. We are now a growing group of people who are giving time, money and resources to change the future of a generation of people in Tonj in Southern Sudan.
