The Project

Southern Sudan is amongst the most underdeveloped and impoverished countries in the world. KAS is trying to change this by sustainably helping to rebuild and assist the Malony community in Tonj, Southern Sudan.

After hearing their stories and their pleas for help we accepted the task to help develop these basic necessities for life such as
  • The right to clean and safe drinking water
  • The rights to education
  • The right to basic health care and health education
  • The right to food and nutrition
  • The right to religious freedom and worship
Our project aims to help develop this community over the next three years. Our main three projects are Developing good sanitation, cleaner and healthier water supplies as well as other health and environmental initiatives will also be developed within the next 3 years.

KAS aims for the project to be financially and environmentally sustainable by 2017.

Some ways we hope to do this is by developing agriculture and small businesses to both teach the community skills as well as create income for the project to run for future generations. Within the next three years we need $500,000 to build this development and help the people of Malony.
